Coffee maker at Polynesian

Hi all -

Although I have stayed at the Polynesian in the past I can't remember if we requested or received a coffee maker. Since I travel alone with my dd's it is really helpful to have the machine in the room so I can wake up before I actually leave the room!

I have been able to request and get a coffee maker at CR and CSR but had to call and beg every day at the BC, although I was promised over an over I never did get one

Anyone have luck with a coffee maker at the Polynesian? I will be doing a grocery stop so coffee supplies won't be an issue.

We did not have a coffee maker this pass summer at the Polynesian ... not sure if we could have requested one ... but there definitely was not a coffee maker in the room.

TJ, at the Polynesian you will not have a coffeemaker in your room at checkin but can request one. We have never done so but knowing housekeeping at the Polynesian, one will appear at your door within an hour...usually sooner... of your request. Just call housekeeping when you first get to your room. And if you are leaving to hit the parks, don't worry...they will still deliver it. Although we never have requested a coffeemaker, we always ask for a refrigerator for insulin and often more pillows and hangers.

I have requested and been provided a coffeemaker at the Polynesian. However, since it's not something that's normally in the rooms, Mousekeeping might not always leave refills and supplies for you. I did have to call and ask for replacement supplies a couple of times.

I have an inexpensive 4 cup coffeemaker that I often pack and take with me, along with filters, my own favorite Starbucks Columbian (I grind it at home and carry it in a tupperware container), and creamer/sweetener. It doesn't take much more space than a pair of shoes, and it's nice to wake up to a cup of good coffee.

The coffeemaker was cheap enough that I always know that I can just leave it behind with no regrets if I run out of suitcase space for the return trip.

Thanks all - I was hoping that housekeeping could bring me one. I will get supplies at our grocery stop but I didn't want to pack mine if it isn't necessary!!

We had a four cup coffeemaker at the Poly last June. The housekeepers do not carry refill supplies. We were told to call housekeeping to request more coffee and had it within minutes.
