Coffee maker at AKV

Can someone please tell me what kind of coffee maker is in the Kidani 2 bdrm? I have heard some talk about a pod system at some resorts?

All DVC Resorts have 10-12 cup Mr Coffee Brand Brewers that take the flat bottom (basket) style of filters. There have been reports of some studios having 4 cup brewers and if you call housekeeping they will replace it will the 10-12 cup version.

Hi! I have a partial picture of the coffee maker from our Dec 2011 trip in a 1 bedroom at AKV-Kidani.

I don't know it this will help. The Coffee packets are in a sealed filter pack that you just insert into the filter area and you have to fill up the reservoir.

I drank it almost every morning. It wasn't bad but I also drink instant at home. I am sure you can bring your own coffee and filters if you choose.

Most do as you only get 1 or 2 packets of coffee when you arrive, and they only replenish them every 4 days (trash/towel and full cleaning days). With AKV Concierge Level being the exception as you get daily housekeeping.
