You had better plan on taking your own or buying some there. My mom and I stayed at OKW in a studio in December. When we arrived there was 1 package of regular and 1 package of decaf for the 4-cup coffee maker in the room. The creamer was non-dairy liquid in single servings. There were only 3 of those. We bought a 1/2 pint of whole milk from the shop up front and kept it in the fridge. We were glad we had packed coffee, but if you don't mind buying it there, the disney coffee in the gift shop is pretty good. I like the flavored ones really well. A couple of years ago I bought the sample pack of disney coffees and enjoyed a different flavor every day!

I am a big coffee drinker so I plan on just bringing my own. The coffee they give you would only last me one morning.

When I was in a 1 bedroom at BWV, I asked if they had decaf available. The front desk said that they could give me 1 package, but that there would be a charge for more. The CM said she'd have to look it up, but she thought it was $3 or $4 per filter pack! (These make 1 small pot each.) I said, "No thanks!"

They did have nice Disney-themed filter packs for sale in the convenience store or gift shop (I forget which one), for about $10 for 8 or 10 packs. Instead, I just bought a box of filter packs at Publix or some other offsite store -- about $3.50 for 10 packs.

I'd recommend bringing your coffee. Do the coffee makers there still need the filters? Last I was there the coffee maker needed a filter which I had not brought. They did have some at the store but I'd bring some filters too.

We usually buy the coffee already packed in filters. I also found that the coffee tastes better when bottled water is used instead of the tap water.

What are the sample packs of Disney coffees? I'm guessing they are offered in the general stores. Are they a coffee/filter combination pack? Anybody know how much they cost? How many are sold per pack? I'm wondering if I could rely on this or if I really need to pack my own coffee.

Bring your own coffee & make your own filters.

Recalling how bad the supplied coffee is at BWV, we brought our own coffee on our last trip and figured we would buy filters when we arrived. Unfortunately, the BWV store was fresh out. The store CM said we could wait until a new supply arrived or, possibly sensing the "I brought coffee all the way down here ..." thoughts running through my my head, we could make our own out of a paper towel. It worked like a charm!

Anyone know how much sugar and sweet n low is usually in a studio? Anywhere close by to run and grab a few packets if we run out? (We'll be at BWV.) Wow, I sound like my grandma.....

DH and I were sooo glad that VB refillable mugs included coffee! We didn't know that and ordered coffee at breakfast the first day, and we overheard people at the next table ordering coffee in refillable mugs. Sometimes it pays to overhear things! And now, we have Brother Bear mugs as a momento of our wonderful vacation. These are the first Disney refillable mugs in our family!

At BCV in March we received 1 coffee packet with a few sugars, fake sugars and non-dairy creamers. These cost $3 each. The coffee and filter is one easy drop in thing and made about 5-6 decent tasting cups.

As an aside, over the years the flavor and varieties of coffee have gotten better. Years ago WDW coffee was awful in my opinion. Thankfully that has changed.

I'll bring my own next time however.

To be honest, I'd just as soon they drop the whole 'we give you starter coffee' thing. Most coffee addicts know they need to bring their own coffee, and I've yet to go to any hotel/resort where they actually provide enough sweetener and creamer.

We always bring our own filters (they fold flat) and coffee. If we're not hauling down food for 13, I'll usually throw in a grinder. Nothing like watching the fountain, bunnies and birds and listening to the sound of diesel engines while sitting on the porch at OKW sipping freshly ground and brewed blue mountain coffee on a cool December morning.

The ones I remember come in cute (small, maybe 4 oz?) Disney character tins - believe it is ground coffee. I remember them coming in either a 4-pack or a 6-pack of different flavors. They were definitely NOT filter packs. Can't remember the cost, but it was more than I cared to pay since I wasn't sure I'd like the coffee. I either bring or buy my own coffee and filters in a grocery when I arrive. HTH.

Our coffee ration lasted a whole two weeks - my DW did not know how to use the coffee machine! Lots of trips to Beaches and Cream instead.

I've found the number of sugar (real & artificial) and creamer packets vary from trip to trip. My advice is to bring a few along - they don't take up much space and if you aren't one to drink your coffee black, it's well worth your trouble.
