Coffee filter size?

When we get to DL next week I think I am going to buy coffee for in the room (I drink a whole pot a day now andI CAN"T live without it). What size of filters should I buy? We are staying at the Tropicana...I don't know if that matters as all hotel coffee pots seem to be the same size.

I don't have an answer for you, but I am also looking for the type and size filters for the DLH???

You're looking at a 4-cup coffee maker in the room that use coffee 'pods' (at least they did last May). We always buy the pods and bring them with us, but, for an extra buck or two (a tip, not required), maid service will bring additional packets to your room.

I was thinking that too...but I've never seen "pods" for sale. Would you happen to know where I can buy them?

You can find pods all over these days although not always in the most obvious places. I saw a big display at Bed, Bath & Beyond this weekend and have seen them at Stapples, Target, Walmart and Longs Drugs to name a few in the past.

You may also want to ask the housekeeping staff if you can't find the right ones yourself. They're generally accommodating even of large volumes.

Ok so I am answering myself for others. Disneyland Hotel uses 4 cup standard size coffee filters. ( basket size). You have to call housekeeping and request a coffee maker, they bring the coffee maker cups and 2 pkgs of coffee, 1 decaf 1 regular to your room.

Our 1st coffee maker was delivered without a basket, so I had to call and have another one delivered. The replacement one, was sent with the wrong filter basket, so it did not open the "pause and serve function" on the botton of the basket. So after some modification, DH was able to have a cup of his maxwell house columbian... Now if it would only be as easy to get some diet mountain dew delivered!

For you guys that don't want to make coffeee, there is free coffee served in the lobby of the Magic tower ( main lobby for sure) every day.
