Coffee Bar at WL??

I read on another site something about a small coffee bar at WL. Does anyone know anything about this? It mentioned about asking what the specialty coffee was for the day. This would be nice so we didn't have to drink that Nescafe stuff but I didn't know if there really was such a coffee bar there.

Sorry, I'm afraid you'll have to choke down the Nescafe while you're there. The Polynesian has a small coffee bar, but not the WL. We bring our own coffee with us to get around having to drink the Nescafe chuckwagon coffee.

I find this so strange. It seems that Disney (and Nestle) would want to "capitalize" on something that most Americans partake in doing every day. Can't they see that Starbucks is a huge business? Coffee drinking is not a fad - we've been doing it for generations. Nestle needs to develope some palatable beverages and jump on the bandwagon (and jump off the chuckwagon). Ok - my vent is over.

I haven not heard of one at WL. There is a decent coffee bar by Kona Cafe at the Polynesian and a good shop on the Boardwalk, that gets very busy in the morning.

I roast my own, and Nescafe is like a slap in the face to a real coffee drinker. We'll bring a Coffee Press, heater and fresh grounds. I recommend you do the same.

There did used to be a coffee bar in the lobby of the WL. It was near the bubbling geiser. Havent seen it the past few times though.

The Contemporary Grounds at the CR is very good and has much longer hours (like until 9 p.m.) than the Poly cafe, which was closed in the afternoon when we tried to go there.

I remember the coffee bar at WL. I haven't seen it in years though. Where it was originally was replaced with a DVC desk. I guess that made more money for them than coffee.
