It's been a couple of years since I've been at Disney, but I specifically remember the coffee (especially at values) being just awful. It tasted like bad instant.

I'm not very fussy and will drink just about anything (including instant), but that stuff was plain bad.

Anyone else agree?

It's just very watered-down it seems. I just have to overdo it with cream and splenda and then it's fine :) I just need my caffeine fix, though!!

It _is_ bad instant, Nescafe from the liquid base to be precise. :scared1:

There have been a number of recent threads on this topic, and some alternatives for drinkable coffee have been posted in those. Do a quick search for "coffee" and you'll likely find them. Three that I subscribed to (and thus still have the link) are:

yup...it's gross instant coffee...in the threads that bookbabe listed..there are links to allearsnet.com's listing of where you can find real brewed coffee in the World

IMHO, the Kona Coffee Bar has the best coffee in the "world". Note it closes at 12:00 noon, so make sure to arrive before then. I'm planning to bring my own from home next trip!

The ground coffee for sale in small sacks in AKL gift shop -- the "AKL Blend" -- is fantastic. It's roasted by Joffrey's in Tampa.

Thanks for the info. I'm staying at CSR and I see they have "real" coffee plus the in-room coffee makers.

This trip keeps getting better and better. :rotfl2:

SO be honest, do you chose this resort because of the coffee? :thumbsup2

Couldn't agree with you more. We always bring our own from home for that early morning caffeine, but when we're in a jam in the parks, we get one coffee and one hot cocoa. We ask for a third cup and then mix them together. A poor man's mocha.

Like I said, not ideal, but in a jam it'll work for us. :-)

Yes, we call it Nescrap and dh brings his own for the AMs. The only places with good coffee is most of the table service restaurants. There is also a cart btw Canada and England that makes pretty good lattes.
