Does anyone know what kind/brand of coffee they brew at Roaring Forks. My DH enjoyed his morning coffee last week while we were there. He said the coffee has a different flavor than what he drinks at home. Any idea what they serve or know where I could ask?

Any help is appreciated!

Hmmm...I would have to guess it would be Nescafe, as I think that is all they serve anywhere due to a contract with Nestle. But then again, I know the POly is one exception, so maybe there are more???

Anyone? This is a query I would love the answer to as well. KNowing decent coffee was available could definitely push WL up to my #1 choice of resort for next year's trip.... :goodvibes

Every cup of coffee I drank at WDW, other than specialty brews or at table service restaurants, was definately NesCafe. I thought I was going to die *drama queen alert* If there were a puking smiley face, I'd insert it here.

We ended up going to the Hess gas stations for coffee. While the Hess coffee is no Starbucks, it was so much better than the NesCafe stuff.

However, if you like your coffee somewhat sweet and weak, you'll be in heaven.

Disclaimer - I like my coffee bitter, strong, and black :)

I would like to state for the record that Nescafe doesn't even taste like coffee to me....it is really just a vile brew. I wish Disney would can it already.

SO are we assuming then that WL has Nescafe?

For the record, my DH hated the coffee at Whispering Canyon but said the coffee at Roaring Forks tasted much better. He is sure that it isn't the same coffee.

He drinks strong, dark coffee at home, FYI.

Kona Cafe - Press pot of 100% Kona or a Kona blend in a cup.
Boma - Kenyan press pot

I believe there is a Charbuck$ at the Swolfin if that is your thing.

There's a few other spots with decent coffee, Boardwalk Joe's, etc.

I'll agree with that. Last week I took my resort mug half filled with RF Nescafe into WCC and so got a chance to do an A-B comparison. Definitely different stuff, and I prefer the Nescafe also. (I'm one of those that can't stand Starbucks. My favorite right now is from Circle-K.)
