coffee at BCV?

We're leaving in about a week , staying in a two bedroom suite at the Beach Club Villas. I'm guessing that the rooms must have a coffee pot, but do they also provide the coffee? Or should I get some on my grocery stop? Thanks!

I haven't stayed at BCV but have at BWV many times. Are you staying on DVC points? We have never done that but my understanding is that if you are staying on DVC points you do not have daily maid service.

Yes, there is a coffeemaker and if you get daily maid service they will leave a packet or two of coffee every day. We have always brought our own coffee as we like more than one or two pots of coffee per day and I'm not crazy about the flavor of the coffee provided. If you bring your own coffee you will also need to bring filters. (Or you can use paper towels - we've been known to do that in an emergency. ) The coffee they leave is filter-packs so there will be no filters in the room. The coffeemaker is a standard size (10 or 12 cup) with a basket filter.

If you're "into" coffee, however, I suggest bringing your own ... the stuff in the rooms is ok.... but not super. If you want to sit on the balcony and enjoy the coffee, you may want to bring your own ground coffee .... That's just what I do. We tried their stuff last time, and are planning to bring our own next month when we go down again.

Thanks for the replies. No, we're not staying on DVC points. I read some comments recently on the DVC board about the cleanliness of some of the Beach Club Villas rooms, so I hope we won't have any problems. Thanks for the tip on the coffee. I think we'd better buy some on our grocery stop, along with coffee filters. I probably would'nt have thought of that.
