Coffee at 6am?

I wish each resort had a QS location that opened at 6am. I'm usually on my way before 7am and resort to having breakfast/coffee in the room (I pack a toaster). Walking to GF isn't a terrible idea however is the walking path closed due to the DVC construction?

A Poly/GF path is open, but currently pretty materially detoured and a longer walk than before (it crosses over Floridian Way at Poly then back again towards the wedding pavilion at GF). Its OK for a longer stroll to dinner or just visiting resorts (but take caution at the two new crosswalks as you’re competing with traffic), but it’s not ideal for just popping over between resorts for a quick coffee or quick service food, IMHO.

Thanks for the update, doesn't sound very relaxing!

Trek over to Gasparilla's at the GF. It's open at 6:00 a.m.

Inconvenient, I admit, but a nearby use of your refillable whenever early desperation strikes.

It's really a trek now with the construction, across the major road, not a peaceful stroll on the lake.

My wife can't function without coffee. So, she won't be able to make that walk.

I guess we'll bring our Keurig from home, or she'll force me on a 5:45am walk every morning. :)
Isn’t there a Keurig with coffee and the accessories in the room at Poly?

True, which in part was why I said trek and inconvenient.

Prior to the P2 construction, that was a hike signaling a case of refillable mug desperation.

These days, I'd advise having your will up to date before trying it. Or, better yet, stay at the GF. 😁

Keurig in the hotel rooms, 12-cup coffee maker in the DVC rooms. My first purchase each trip is a pint of half-and-half.
