There are hundreds of savings codes out there for car rental. How careful are the agencies with all of these codes. If you geta discount through Sam's Club, TA, or Capital One do they require that I bring that card with me?

If you are a EC, Quicksilver, or other member of express services, when would they even ask for it? I have a fear of forgeting my Sam's card and then being charged the high rate.

They collect the coupon when you leave the garage. I'd put whatever discount cards you might use (DC, AAA, Sams Club....)in your wallet now. If they ask for the card (it happens) you'll either pay a higher rate or spend time trying to get some type of ID faxed to you. It could be worse, if you forget your drivers license you'll have trouble even getting on the airplane.
