Codes/packages For April/may 2009

i know its really early but i am waiting to see if there are rates for this time period. i know there was this year (i think there was this year) so do they pretty much do the same every year? when would i expect to see them?
all in all, i'm just looking for the best time to go for discounts at the pop. as spring is best for us, this is the time period we are looking at.
any thoughts?

The rates for 2009 should be out in August. This will be room only rates and rates for packages. Any discounts will probably not be announced until early in 2009, other than AAA discounts which will be available pretty much as soon as the rates themselves are announced.

Bumping this up b/c I'm interested, too. When were the codes for this year? We are thinking about either the last week in April or the first week in May 2009 for our trip. Do the codes generally come out for the same time periods wach year? Didn't mean to hijack your thread with all my questions, but I'm hoping that they will eventually release a code for our travel dates!

Historical information as to when codes are issued can be found on Mousesavers.com. There was a code that ended May 21, 2008 and the values were 74. with an AP. I'm not sure of the beginning date for that code but it did end the 21st.

I know that there were free ticket upgrades in May of last year and I believe this year too.

Another person waiting on the April 2009 AAA rates to come out....geez I hope I don't miss it...I really need to reduce the price as much as I can ! In 2007 AAA saved me almost 250.00 off my bill...I need that !

Yes it was and it was so timely, and I'm hoping for something again for next year, I really need it more than ever becaue just a camping site at FW is 100.00 per night...

If I am remembering correctly there was a room discount but the last day to use it was 5/21/08. This was a week before we were arriving.

i called in to get the ticket upgrade on our package and all i expected was our tickets to change HOWEVER much to my delight our package price dropped. since i had only booked with base tickets i was happy. so, in short, it must have been on the over all package and not just tickets.

That's correct. We used the discount and it was $74 per night for the values. They did have another just after Memorial Day but I don't recall what it was. It may have been for AP.
