Codes for regular season?

Do they offer code rates for regular season or is it only value season that the do? I want to take DD down in May and I don't know if I can get a
room only code rate or should I just go ahead and book a package.

In the past there have been codes, but one never knows. You can always cancel your room if you don't get a code. I would book now to get where you want. I think you have 5 days before arrival to cancel. If the codes aren't out close to a month before you arrive, you probably aren't getting any. Then you could cancel. I think May codes came out around March last year.

I thought about doing the same thing-booking and then canceling if a good ap discount or code doesn't come out. But the problem the poster may have is the problem I have-I have to book air soon because coming from the NJ/NY area, it is tough to get a good rate on air and availability. The longer you wait on air the more you pay too and the airlines don't let you cancel, you get a voucher for future travel.

Also from NJ/NY area and I have the same problem as Goofyandmore, so I just booked my flights yesterday and now I sit impatiently and wait for the discounts. I've definitely gotten them during regular season b/4, so I'm hoping for them this June.
