Codes at Thanksgiving?

I know it is very early, but DH just gave the OK for our next trip to the world. We have been during Thanksgiving before and would like to return. Our qq trip was before I knew about the codes. We have been two times since and always used codes. If codes are not usually available could you suggest other ways to save money. Thanks for your help!

We have been at WDW for Thanksgiving 98, 00, 01, & 02. In 02 both codes and Annual Passholder rates were available with the AP rates being slightly better. In 01 we had an AP rate at the Yacht Club but codes were not available for Thanksgiving week even though there were codes for the rest of November.
In 98 and 00 the only discount we found was the Magic Kingdom Club/Disney Club 20% discount.

I booked both the code and AP rates for 01 & 02 in mid to late July.

Figure the codes to be out in late August or early September...
