Codes and Confusion

Hi Everyone,
I'm fairly new to this board so am completely confused about what I'm reading on these discount code threads. Would someone give me a quick overview of what the AP codes are and if there are discounts I should be lookign for? I'm booked at POR in April.

Also, I received an email from Disney with a PIN # for a 5 night/6 day special. Is this PIN # usually good for any other discount or just the one they are talking about?

And AP code is a code for Annual Passholders to get a discount on room only. Generally speaking these codes are posted on the WDW website when you login as an annual passholder. These codes are NOT generally posted to this message board.

The discount count that floated around this message board ... was associated with a mail offer (like the one you received) and a number of people booked it. That discount generally didn't apply in April so that wouldn't apply to you anyway.

As for the one you received in the mail - Call the number on the mailing and talk to them - they'll tell you what it's good for exactly.

There should be a number on your e-mail. Call that, give them the pin and they will help you with the rest. Congrats on getting an e-mail pin and I hope it works out.
