Code for late Aug?

Not yet, but historically Disney will put out a late August code once they see how bookings are going. Mousesavers.com has a chart of when codes were released in the past, and last year a "room only" code for the general public was released on 7/10 (expiring 8/18) for the period 8/19 -9/30.

I checked free dining for my dates (tentatively 8/25 - 8/31) and it was sold out at the WL, but I am hoping for a room-only code. When we went last year I had a PIN code sent to me by Disney so I used that (didn't put the trip together until late July!), but no such luck this year. I think it was about 33% off. It was actually cheaper for us than if we had paid rack rate and gotten free dining, because we did not spend that much money on food. With free dining, though, I know I would have had a lot more table service meals - and probably gained weight!
