Code for Discount Photo CD at Disney

Iwanted to get the Photo cd, I know if you book a room there. you get some sort of discount code to order it at a cheaper rate. Where do you get the code? Do I have to call back and ask for it? Or do they give it to us when we check in?

You should get an e-mail from Disney before your trip (I think they're still saying between 45 days and 10 days before) that offers you a discount. Only if they have your e-mail address, you're staying on property, and you have opted-in to receiving offers from Disney on the website. This is the only way to get the code now.

Did you book through Disney or someone else? I booked through a travel agent (AAA) and stayed on property but didn't get a code. I did register my photopass ahead of time and the best offer I got was $15 off so I took it once I got back and just got my cd yesterday. I love it!

If you booked through a travel agent, you don't get the code. But all you have to do is ask your TA to call Disney for it. That's how it works for TA reservations. Sorry that you didn't know that.

Vicki, I'm glad you mentioned this because I just booked through a TA and I need to make sure to ask her to call Disney for my code. Should I do that now or wait until closer to our trip? We're going to be there Thanksgiving week.

Thanks Vicki! I printed out the earlier stuff Brad had, when the changes were first announced. I'll check there to see if he's got anything new.
