Back in 2002, we went to the Polynesian Luau show...we really enjoyed it, but feel that we don't need to see it twice. We are going to the Poly this summer, but only for 4 nights and want to spend our short time seeing something new. My DD is insistant about going to the show again to have some of their coconut bread...she loved it!! (that is the only reason she wants to go there  ) Does anyone know if I can get some of this delicious bread at another one of the Poly restaurants?

I think they had it Ohana's for dinner, it was either pineapple or coconut. But it was very good!!!

They've got it at Ohana.
It was awesome.
If our waiter was worth anything we'd have had more

I LOVE coconut, so I took a shot and found this on-line. I assume it's the same recipe for the POLY coconut bread!

'Ohana has pineapple bread (which is one of my favorites!) and something called a Coconut Snowball, which is coconut ice cream. It is so good!

thanks for all of your replies. We were thinking of trying Ohana, so DD should be happy witht he bread there~she loves both coconut and pineapple!

I had it in March of 2004 with our breakfast and I LOVED IT!!!!! I ate so much that it wasn't eve funny! We went back later in the week for dinner and it was SO different. The breakfast was so much better! Dinner had very little flavor and barely (if any) coconut. I have been back to Ohana's since then for dinner and the same thing happened, the bread wasn't as good!
I would suggest going for breakfast!
YUM
