We are staying in Cocoa Beach for a few days prior to our cruise.

Is there a restaurant on the ocean that we could go for lunch? I know about Grills but I want to be right on the ocean. Also would love an outside patio to eat.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Bumping this one up as I would like this information also. Has anyone ever stayed in one of the condos or apartments that are rented by the week in Cocoa Beach?

Try this place - it was GREAT in 2002 when we were in Cocoa Beach!!!!
Enjoy

Bernard's Surf Restaurant and Lounge. Located on South Atlantic Avenue.
Address: 2 South Atlantic Avenue Cocoa Beach FL USA 32931

If you want to be right over the ocean, you need to be at the Cocoa Beach Pier - it is an awesome place to eat and the scenery can't be beat - you can walk to the end of the pier and watch the fishermen catching their fish - they also have places to sit and a lounge to catch a drink.
also if you go to savingssafarai.com - they have discount coupons once a month which are good for the month.

Love the Cocoa Beach Pier! It is great for food and ocean views. We stayed on Cocoa Beach for two weeks this past Christmas. Had Christmas dinner at Marlin's Good Time Grille - in fact, ate there at least 3 times. Great views of the ocean and surfers - you are right over the ocean. Food is good and not pricey. Saw the Magic sail one night. Informal atmosphere - wooden floor, booths along the windows. Like a seafood place on the ocean should look. The Atlantic Ocean Grille on the pier is a bit more formal - opens at 5 - and a bit more expensive but looks very nice. More extensive menu. Another restaurant we wanted to try but did not (it got a bit cold during our stay) is at the pier but on the sand - not really over the ocean- but with a good open air ocean view. Called Oh Shucks. They have live music several nights a week.

BLBCB- in response to your question about condos - we rented a 2 BR condo with a direct ocean view just two buildings south of the pier. Also had a good view of the pier and surfers. Even caught a rocket launch. Found it at a site called VRBO.com. It was top quality - very clean - and two balconies overlooking the beach and ocean. We rented bikes for the length of the stay and rode everywhere in Cocoa Beach - including down to Jetty Park to watch the Magic and Wonder sail and along the beach back to the pier.
