I have never been to Jetty Park but have read that it is good. We normally go here http://www.brevardfl.gov/ParksRecreation/Central/LoriWilson Lori Wilson Park. It has restrooms and showers and there is a lifeguard station on the beach as you walk on. In the summer there was a small van selling drinks but we normally take our own snacks.
We have been to Jetty Park a couple of times. We went because the pier is handicap accessible. We had a scooter bound visitor who wanted to get to the ocean. Going all the way out on the pier gets you out into the ocean. On our last visit we saw dolphins off the end of the pier. It costs a bit to get in but we found it very nice. There is a snack bar, picnic tables, and rest rooms. Easy to get to. Depending on when you go you might get to see one of the cruise ships make their way through the inlet.
Gina-Gina-Bo-Bina: Great pictures of Lori Wilson Park. Maybe next time we head over that way we will give it a try.
