How busy is Cocoa Beach on a Saturday? Is it impossible to find a parking spot? Will we be able to find a place to change our clothes and use the restroom?
I have this fear of driving for 2 hours looking for a parking space.
We were there this past Mon..it only took 1 1/2 hours. We got there early...about 10:00 and it was pretty busy. I was surprised to see it that busy for a Monday. I'd say get there no later than 8:30/9:00 on a Sat. to get a parking spot.
This is the tricky thing...parking and changing! We weren't very familiar with where to do either. We went into a souvenir store to buy towels and a boogie board. The woman working the store was nice enough to let us change in her dressing room (she offered!) Unfortunately, we ended up changing in the car once our beach time was finished. That was tricky! I'm sure someone can educate us on how to do it better next time.
Oh, and I recommend Kelsey's italian restaurant for dinner! It was our second time there and it's always been yummy. We have a dd named Kelsey and LOVE italian so it's a win-win for our family. It's next to the Radisson hotel on the main drag by where the cruise ships dock.

Monday the 14th? We were there too! We parked at the Lori Wilson State park and got there about 11:30 or so. It was a really easy drive from Disney, and I'm glad we went!
