Cocoa Beach & Clearwater Beach??

I need help, I have never been to the ocean/beach and woudl like to go this year with the kids.

I would like to go to both Cocoa Beach and Clearwater Beach but I need to know names of beaches or cities or what ever they are called so I can do mapquest to know how to get there.

i would like to know if people had 1 place to go where would they go to east or west coach for the day. We just want to go and sit on the beach and have some good/cheap seafood to eat.

Never been to Cocoa beach, but Clearwater is beautiful!! Here is a pretty good website for it too!

Here is some info on Cocoa Beach. We are thinking of going here since we've never been to the Atlantic before, but the surf is pretty rough compared to Clearwater, so I'm not sure.

You should use exactly the names you used in this thread Cocoa Beach and Clearwater Beach. Mapquest, or any of the other mapping sites, will find beach locations from those names. Cocoa beach is in the city of Cocoa Beach and Clearwater beach is, I believe, on the island of Clearwater Beach which is part of the city of Clearwater.

I've been to both. When I went to Cocoa, my friend had been there the week before so she directed me where to go. We went to where Cocoa Beach Pier is and I enjoyed that area. The address listed for that is 401 Meade Ave Cocoa Beach, FL 32931. As for Clearwater, I essentially just mapquested Clearwater Beach, FL and just made some random turns until I found a beach. I just did some googling and I think I went to Sand Key Beach. If that's the case, then it's a nice area. The address for that is 1060 Gulf Blvd., Clearwater, FL 33767

We go to Clearwater 3 or 4 times a year (my mother in law lives there). There are soooo many motels and hotels on Clearwater Beach. Some are big name and some are "mom and pop" types.

The best website I can think of to research prices, etc for Clearwater beach motels/hotels is
