Coco Key, Gatorland & airboat tour?

Can anyone give me their input please.....

is Coco Key Resort fun? nice? or is Nickelodeon hotel better?

Is Gatorland worth the drive & $?

What air boat tour is inexpensive, good and do you see gators on?

I can only answer one of those questions, we went to Gatorland and it was a lot of fun. My son was 13 at the time. I think it is good for a half a day. I would go again.

Haven't tried the other two, but my gang loved Gatorland. It's a good, 3-hour kind of place. It's very different from WDW--kitschy and a bit silly, but interesting.

Our family had a great time at Gatorland. My kids are 4, 6 and 8 and it was great for their age group. It was actually very peaceful there compared to Disney. We spent 4 or 5 hours there.

I've not been to Coco Key in FL, but the one in NE is just OK. With everything else to do I wouldn't do it in FL.

I've been told great things about Gatorland by my friend and we are planning on going in Feb. with her son (he want's to feed the gators like his mom and dad did).

I've dome some research into the airboat tours and think we are going with Wild Willy's. It's for small groups (6 per boat), 1 hour long and $35 per adult and $32 for a child. They also have runt gators to hold and pose with using your own camera at the shop. Doesn't seem to be "up-selling" anything.

Many people from out of the area enjoy Gatorland.

There are no guarantees that you will ever see gators on an airboat ride. However, your chances will be better if you go at dusk.

We tried Gatorland for the first time this year on our trip. I have two girls 3 and 5 and they loved it. We were only there about four hours but they had a great time. Note that if you're active duty military the military member gets in free and their family gets 20 percent off tickets. You just need to have your id. So that was a welcome surprise at the ticket office.
