Cocktail recipes...

Am having a fancy dress party soon-ish and want the drinks to be cocktails, anyone got any good recipes for either Vodka or Malibu cocktails? Cheers. xx

Cosmopolitan

2 measures vodka
1 measure Cointreau
1 measure cranberry juice
0.5 measure lime juice

I tend to just pour in what looks right and taste - we sometimes end up with some pretty strong Cosmos

You could also make a Malibu Woo Woo, which is basically 1 part Vodka, 1 part Malibu topped up with Cranberry Juice. If you prefer, you can use Peach Schnapps/Archers in place of Malibu for a standard Woo Woo.

1 measure white rum
1 measure malibu
equal parts cranberry & pineapple juice to individual tastes
dash of coconut cream

shake all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker with crushed ice

Island Sunrise

1 measure malibu
1 (or 1½) measure of each orange & pineapple juices
drop of grenadine

shake the malibu and juices with crushed ice, pour into a cocktail glass and then gently pour a small amount of grenadine down the side of the glass so it sinks to the bottom

Sea Breeze

1 measure vodka mixed with cranberry and grapefruit juices to personal taste - serve over ice

We had a Beach BBQ a couple of years ago and Mrs P did all the cocktails that day that she served from our very own Tiki Hut

She had so many on offer we had to do a menu so people knew what they were getting

The menu looks fab and good tip for the Mocktails, there will be at least one pregnant lady there.

Coco colada

50ml Malibu
25ml Milk
75ml Pineapple juice
50ml Orange juice

Shake pour over ice

Coco cosmo

25ml Malibu
25ml vodka
60ml cranberry juice
10ml Lime juice

Add ice shake and serve.

I think if you go on the malibu website there are a load more recipes for malibu cocktails !!

Frozen Strawberry Daiquiris

4 strawberries (half one for glass decoration)
1 tsp white sugar
35ml oz white rum (mine is just usually a good glug)
1 tbsp strawberry liqueur
25ml lime juice
Handful of ice

Blend until its like a slush

I know it was just vodka or malibu you was looking for but this one always goes down well.
