Coast to Coast Question

I know this is speculation at this point, but I thought I'd ask to see what you think...

I had heard that Disney was going to be more of a stickler this year for the 3:30 being the last 'official' time to qualify for the C2C medal. Of course, I ended up finishing the Princess in 3:32 due to a number of factors. So, my question is, how likely do you think it'll be that I'll still be eligible for the Coast to Coast medal in California?

I've heard of people in past years being eligible for it with much longer times than that. They were allowed to finish but their final time was much later than 3:30.

What do you think?

They threatened that with the Goofy runners this year, yet everyone I met who did not meet the required threshold for times still received their Goofy medals. I really don't think you have anything to worry about as I don't see how they could really verify times as the finish line before putting the medal around your neck. I think they just hope it motivates people to finish faster so they can clean up all the race stuff. . I am not at all worried about not receiving my Coast to Coast medal this year. Not sure what the time required for the Marathon was...but my feeling is if you finished and got an official time you held up your end of the bargain.

I think I was more worried about not getting my wristband at DL since they can check my 3:32 Princess time. I would think that there was no way they'd be able to verify my DL finish time right at the finish line and they'd have to give me the medal if I had the wristband, but will they give me the wristband??

Hmm...I guess we'll find out!
