Anyone been to a COACH outlet? How are the prices, any good deals or is everything still really expensive?

I have one like 20 minutes from us. I have a wristlet that cost maybe $40.00 and a chain purse that cost $25.00 There big purses arent to bad. In the $100.00 but i would def go to one if you get the chance.

Oh, good. We are going to one tomorrow(2 hrs away) and I am looking for a new wallet, but can't afford the regular prices for them. I didn't know what to expect or if looking there would be a dissappointment.

There are always lots of sales at the Coach Outlet by me. It good too when you get the coupon in the mail. I just used mine at the regular store in the mall, it was a 25% coupon for a wristlet or my daughter, it was $58 and I ended up paying I think $40. Definitely worth the trip!

I have been to outlets in Santa Fe and Vegas. Santa Fe had great prices. In Vegas the Las Vegas Outlets on the way south strip was awful and there were hardly any discounts. But the Coach outlet in the Premium Outlets over off of I-15 near downtown was great. Like Santa Fe they had markdowns for being in the factory store and then there were additional markdowns 20% to 50%.

Purses ran around the 150's, sling bags ran 99-115, wristlets run around 30 to 40, lots of small accessoies from 7.99 to 29.99 and some bigger items that were around the 200 range.

Just returned last week from Vegas. I bought a brown/tan MiniSignature Weekender (I'm using it for a work tote) for 215 with is about half off, a matching agneda/dayplanner for 95, and matching eyeglass totes and picture/id wallets for 7.99. I also bought a 3 bottle pill box (I actutally already had one to match the tote so I'll switch it out) in black/grey for 23.99. I walked out for about 400.00 and that's a great price for Coach. I didn't buy any purses since I splurged on the big tote which is what I particulary was looking for besides I bought 3 purses on two trips this spring in Santa Fe, so I"m "coached" for the rest of the year.

ETA: Wallets ran about 30% off. Full wallets were 100-200, small ones ran 60-90. I always look at wallets but I just don't like Coaches "style" so I stick to my Fossil TriFolds.

I went to a Coach Outlet in Branson Missouri and got a purse for $100.00, originally priced $399. I think I am in love with my Coach purse ;)

We have one about 15 minutes away in Leesburg, VA. I have bought all 3 of my Coach purses there. I dont' buy Coach wallets, because they are ridiculously overpriced for what I want. My purses on the other hand have been great deals. I got two from the clearance section. All three have been under $200. Two are all leather and one is the holiday patchwork tote.

There always seems to be lots of wallets in the additional 30-40% off sale bins in the COACH outlet store by me. I'm a big COACH fan and usually shop the outlet instead of the regular priced store because of how much cheaper it is. Hope you find what you're looking for :)

LOVE my Coach outlets. We shop in Rehobeth DE every year just so we can go to Coach. 6 woman in Coach,. wahoo.... Of course now I own way too many..... NOT

Seeing that you are from MI. I think your outlet may be the one I'm heading to:banana: Thanks for the info:goodvibes

Heading to my local Coach outlet tomorrow for the Labor Day sales! We were there for the Fourth of July, and while there was a line to get in the door, it moved quickly and was well worth it. So much so that we went twice!

A lot of the clearance had an additional percentage off the marked price. I got two women's wallets, a men's wallet, and four bags for $500. Pretty fantastic considering the large hobo style purse I got was originally $378.

I've never gotten a Coach coupon, but I do receive their catalog. Did you have to sign up for it?

This outlet is the one at Woodbury Commons. I'm planning on hitting the outlets in Orlando next month too!

Was just in one last week. Great markdowns. I think my purse was originally $398 I got it for $129 I think. I also got a business card case and a wallet.

I think the deciding factors are you have to have shopped an outlet and you have to have a full price store in your imediate area.

They just send me the coupons. Do you pay by cash or CC. If you pay by cash ask them to take your name and zip, if you pay by CC they automatically add you to the list. I got one after I had only bought at the outlet, and since the coupon is only good at full price stores I think they use them as incentives.

Thank for the info, bookgirl. I've used a CC at the outlet, and I have bought from the local Macy's, but we don't have a separate store, so that may be it. I'm going to give them my info again tomorrow, maybe it'll help me out in the future!

I've bought some coach purses at my local outlet as well. I guess I'm lucky because the outlet is only 10 min. from my house :cool1: I like some of their stuff, but not all. We recently got a Kate Spade outlet as well and that's much more my style. I think I already have 4 bags, 1 wristlet, 1 wallet, 1 cosmetic case and 1 totebag from Kate Spade and they've only been open since around April of this year :rolleyes1 At least my DH knows what to get me at the outlets now...

I think the prices are great.. they are usually on sale and an additional percentage off.. or that has been my experience! my current purse was only $90 and originally $400

The Coach Outlet near my parents place in Naperville, IL (Chicago Premium Outlet) has a line out the door during holiday weekends and any weekend between Thanksgiving and Christmas. They only allow a certain number of people in the store at a time.

You can usually find some really great prices at the outlet store and I think that the sales people are less snobby and less pushy at the outlet stores than compared to the regular stores.

:thumbsup2

Two years ago I bought 2 small Coach bags at the outlet; my white bee purse was $110 and the Hampton patchwork was $40. A new outlet center is opening tomorrow about 20min from us so I am so looking forward to my trip to Coach in the morning!

oh no, I hope there isn't a long line to get in tomorrow. I told DH we should go today to advoid the holiday crowd but he wanted to wait until the sales started.

There probably will be a line coz of the holiday sales, but it'll be well worth it! And the line moves really fast, they let about 10 people in at a time, at my outlet at least....don't let the line deter you!
