Coach outlet question

As a Coach lover myself, I just wanted to let you in on the fact that the Outlets don't usually sell what is in the stores or online. When I went to the flagship Coach store in NYC just over a month ago, my friend wanted me to get a wallet that matched her bag that she purchased from the outlet. Without telling the sales staff, I showed her a picture of my friend's bag and she immediately told me that her bag came from an outlet and they have never sold that particular one.

I have four Coach bags and I love the one I bought from the outlet just as much as the ones I bought from the stores. But I always thought that the outlets carried "seconds" from the line, and that just isn't the case. They carry a separate, cheaper line.

This only matters if you are going to the outlets to get a specific bag that you have seen in the stores or on the website.

That is not necessarily true. The workers in the outlet I go to told me they get stuff in from stores all the time.
