I wondered if the CMs are taught to write an autograph a certain way for their character, so they will look identical even if you get a different CM? I noticed this especially with princesses, that the autograph looks pretty much alike, although not by the same CM. We have two Alice autographs and they are a little different; I was just hoping that DD5 doesn't notice as she learns to read this year! (I'm already nervous about the two very different looking Mary Poppins! :rotfl: )

Yes, the CM's are taught how to sign the autographs so that they look the same. People have commented that they have gotten autographs over several years and they all look alike for the same character.

yes they are , and from time to time they decide to change the autograph. for example goofy's and plutos has changed sevreal times over the past year as to what is appropriate and what is not. All characters have one even ones that have no costume.

Another thing I have noticed is that Snow White always signs in red crayon...

They aren't CM's, they are the real characters. LOL.

Mickey's signature looks like Walt's handwriting. I like that.

Donald always signs "Donald Duck #1". Which, in my opinion, he is!

Mecha is right. I have autographs of Bambi, Simba, Nala, Pumbaa, Cody and Jake to name a few.

Hey--my Donald Duck autograph (at AK last month) doesn't have "#1" after it!!!! Was it an imposter? :scratchin

This happened to us as well. We ate at AK breakfast and were very surprised not to see the #1 with his autograph. :confused3

We've gotten Belle's autograph, and she signed with a red/yellow crayon-type pen, but Snow White has always used our pen.

I have Cindy, Belle, Snow White and Aurora's autographs and Aurora was the only one who used a crayon (a baby blue one). All of the others used a pen. . . :confused3

Yes, I know from personnal experience. DS used to be Eeyore's best friend, and you know, with all that running around to the different parks all the time, he used to have to practice his autograph so he wouldn't get too tired and forget.

I've never seen any of them sign with a crayon-that's very interesting, wonder why? It seems like it would be harder to write with. We brought our own sharpies in different colors and the characters used those, except Prince Phillip, who had has own nifty purple pen!
