THURSDAY 12th Feb
WCC & DHS
So today we have a lunch reservation at WCC, and decide to have a bit of a chill out morning again!
We head over to the Wilderness Lodge for our 1pm reservation we arrive early and take the opportunity to have a wander around the resort.
we then check in and our table is ready, so we head over to our table and are introduced to our server Chad! here he is with my Mum & Dad
he takes our drink order and the Chef arrives at the table to speak to us and our DD, I have to say we have been really impressed with the Disney Chefs this year they have been really attentive to our DD and have included her in all the discussions regarding her allergies 
Anyway the Chef and our server have a wee bit of banter between them, which is fun, and we order our meals, the fun was definitely lacking this year & I had read that things had been toned down, which were certainly true 
.our DDs were very quick to pick up on the ketchup on every table, so no shouting this year!, but the 2 lady servers were very loud and very funny 
Our food was lovely and this was our eldest DDs favourite meal, she had grilled chicken strips with macaroni cheese & green beans and she devoured the whole lot and her sisters left overs!!
no room for a dessert today. We enjoyed our meal, but the atmosphere was missing!
Anyway we decide to go to DHS and once we arrive in the park, we realise its the opening of American Idol! . The place was packed
the blue carpet is down for the Idols, 1st we head over and see Mulch, Sweat and Tears, wow they are soo good and take a bit of the mickey out of both my DH & I for getting in with the groove!
!
We then head over for a nosey and wander over to find a space to see whats happening at the American Idol
DH takes the girls over to the Muppets whilst I wait and wait.... and then they go to Star Tours, nothing seems to be happening yet with the American Idol apart from lots of TV crews and staff walking everywhere, so I take eldest DD to get some iced drinks, anyway fed up of waiting we try to get into Indiana Jones but the theatres full, so Dh and the girls go back to do Star Tours and my mum, dad & I take a seat on a bench and people watch 
when my mum says how can you walk around here in those shoes? I look up and say OMG... thats Paula Abdul
sorry the quality isn't that good, but it was a quick grab and point photo
at that precise moment an American family realised the same and went running over to her, she was soo lovely with them, my dad was trying to encourage me to go over and have a picture with her, but I declined, this is the only picture I got of her, only to say that my DH didnt believe me when he got back with our DDs!, so now its an ice cream stop for our DDs.
As the park was so busy tonight we decided to call it a night and headed back to the villa.
