We have a trip planned for next week and I have been trying to get breakfast at CRT. Last year, I kept calling and was able to get a table on a cancellation.

I called tonight and the CM said "oh, that is sold out" (before I even gave her the date). When I ask her to please check because last year I was able to get a table based on a cancellation. She said I have been here 10 years and rarely do people cancell. She refused to check!

I said I would just call back and ask to speak to someone else, she said "fine". So, if you get "Enid" (I think that was her name), don't bother asking for CRT!

ooh that burns me up!! The same thing happened to me while we were at Disney a few years ago. I called and spoke to some bloody witch who I knew did not check. When I asked her if she had she said, "yes, and it is sold out." She was outright lying to me. I called right back, and got a reservation for the next day!

I called back today and spoke to a different CM who was more than willing to check. The first CM would not check for Le Cellier either, she said that is booked for two weeks solid.

Not sure how the first CM has lasted 10 years with her attitude. Have they even had CRT for 10 years?

There is a number you can call to give feedback on specific CMs (but I was just put directly through and don't know what it is). Next time you get a good one, ask for the number or to be put through to it and give your feedback.

Forgive if I'm wrong, but isn't that her job. If a customer calls to make an ADR - the CM should always check!!!! Does this woman not know what the words CUSTOMER SERVICE means. That just iratates me.

I'm sorry that you had to deal with her. I've been very lucky and have talked to some very very nice CMs.

The same thing happened to me! I was calling every day and I talked with a CM with a name like "Pierre" or something. I told him I was looking for CRT and he immediately said it was sold out. He was like, "it was sold out 3 months ago" in a snooty voice like I should know better not to ask. Two days later I got a wonderful CM who snatched up a cancellation for my birthday! I was so excited I almost cried on the phone. He was so nice and said "thats one of the things that makes my job so great". I wish I remembered HIS name! He was awesome

I am so happy! I called today and talked to a very nice CM and was able to get an ADR for Cinderella's Gala Feast. This has also been booked for weeks, but I have called almost every day, and finally something came available.

So, don't give up hope, keep trying if there is an ADR that you really want. If you call and get Enid, just call back! :rotfl:

I must have spoken to the same person about 3 weeks ago when I called to check about a different date also for CRT. I didn't catch her name but she gave me the same line about being there for 10 years and no cancellations being available. I thought she was terribly rude, especially for Disney standards. I tried back the next day and spoke with another CM who very kindly checked and found a cancellation for me, but unfortunately it was on the day we have the Sunrise Safari booked and that is the ONLY day we could do that, so I couldn't take it. So just keep calling. I have called every few days and so far no others but you never know.

Next time I get that lady, I will be sure to get her name.

It used to be King Stephan's. Not sure when the name changed.

Whenever I call anyone at WDW, the first thing I do when they answer is jot down the name they give, and at the end of the call I'll say "Thank you, ****, you've been very helpful" or something like that. I do that in case there's a problem later so that I can say I talked to *****. If anyone was ever rude to me, I'd already have their name to make a complaint. (Actually, I sometimes wonder if they use assumed names -- they're almost never common names.)

Yeah, I was wondering the same thing about the names. Most of the time they seem to be two names together or something unusual.

I actually called once just before our last trip and said "I know CRT is booked solid, but my kids just want to eat in the Castle, is it possible to go there for dessert?". It was 20 days before our trip. She said "hmm I dunno, but let me check somthing....OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH (she squealed really loud in the phone) I got it! I got it!" I asked what she got and she had a 2:10pm lunch at CRT for me. I think if I had been there she would have shook my shoulders LOL. She said "you don't know how hard it is to get this reservation, I'm booking dates in November" I said I knew and I appreciated her so much. It was just funny because SHE was so excited, I couldn't even be excited for a couple of minutes because I wasn't so sure what had happened.
I'm sorry you had the exact opposite experience. We also went to 1900 Park Fare for dinner and it was quite wonderful.
