CM rate for preferred room available?

We have a friend willing to make our room reservation. She is a friend of my dh's and he isn't comfortable asking a lot of questions. We are trying to decide on a resort before asking her for pricing. My question is... does anyone know if a CM rate is available for preferred rooms? If we select one of the larger moderates, I would like a preferred location (and am willing to pay the extra charge on top of the discounted rate).

Anyone know?

Yes you can get a preferred room rate if there are any rooms available at the CM rate. It isn't the same as calling central reservations. They only have a certain number of discounted cm rooms.
