CM lanyard bonanza!

I just returned from WDW and thought I'd pass along this tip...

The best place to find a ton of CM's wearing lanyards is at MGM in front of the hat before parade time! There are tons of CMs in one place with not much to do, and EVERY SINGLE ONE was wearing a lanyard. This was the best collection of lanyards in one place I had experienced in any of the parks at any time. Plus there were several managers there, too, and their lanyards are better (I'm told they get to choose which pins they have on their lanyard).

In general, I found MGM to have the most CMs wearing layards.

Also, I was thanked by more than one CM for ASKING to see their lanyard. They say too many people just run up and kind of paw at them, and then leave rudely if they aren't interested in a trade.

One morning we were walking through World Showcase in EPCOT right after opening... we came upon a castmember with about 50 lanyards over her arm!

She was apparently handing them out to employees. I don't know if this happens every day, or if it was just this once. She actually stopped and spread them all out on a counter and let my kids look at each and every pin. There was nobody else around! They made a couple of trades and it made their day!
