Happy New Week Everyone!:goodvibes

I just called to see if the Feb. dates I was looking for are opened up yet for booking. And the CM I spoke with told me that they will be open on August 16th.:cheer2:

I know that there has been interest on the board for when Feb opens for booking.:thumbsup2

Have a Great Day!princess:

They've been telling me by the 15th for 2 weeks now. I'm hope it's the 15th, as I'm tired of waiting. I still call every morning, just in case they decide to release the packages earlier than planned.

Hi Mary,

I'm like you... I call everyday just in case.

And each time they would say..call in a couple of weeks. Or call next week. Then finally I was told call on the 16th. I was happy to finally get a date.

Now I'm wondering..do I rush to book. Or do I wait to see if they have some good specials?:teacher:

At less than 5 months out for what I call off-season, I would assume they'll offer the deals now. They send post cards out with discount codes for 6 months or more out, so I can't imagine that they would offer a better deal later when it's less than 6 months now. If they do, I'll cancel my reservation and make a new one with the better deal. I'm such a planner, it's making me crazy that it's so close. If I was going to WDW, I'd already be making dining reservations. Not even having the room/tickets is more than my Type A brain can handle. : )

Yep...we are going out a few days early for our ABD Backstage Magic, arriving on Jan 10 and I am getting pretty antsy..I want to see what deals are available..if any..if GetAwayToday can beat just booking AAA..etc..Southwest doesn't even have the flight schedule out for the 10th yet...

Ewe! I bought our airline tickets back in March. Glad I did. They are $100+ more now than they were then, plus, we get two bags each below the plane with no additional fees because the tickets were purchased before all the changes happened in that area. : )

Is this only up to February? I thought they opened the bookings for the whole year at one time. Are we going to have to wait longer for June dates?

No, I think once they announce the new package prices and such, it'll be for all of next year. Right now, you can only make a reservation up to January 3rd and I think that means the trip has to end by then, but I'm not positive. I'm use to making reservations a year in advance, so I've been wanting to make ressies since January. I know with WDW, I've made reservations before, with the notation that I was told that I was making a reservation before the prices for that time of year had been released and that I understood they might go up. That was fine with me. At least I had the room I wanted.

It will be interesting to see what the rates are like..if there is a noticable increase.

I was told by a CM there would be some great sales coming out this week. Let's Hope so!:goodvibes
