Oh, I agree! She was so nice and was trying to be thoughtful so I didn't want to get her in trouble. But when I went back to see why my key didn't open the door, it alerted management to what had happened. I also got a survey that asked about check-in issues and satisfaction with resolving them. Wasn't sure the best way to both address the issue and not get the CM in trouble. Loved the CM but love is an open door...Since the CM was polite, pleasant and not the least bit mean spirited, I would let it go. Anyone is going to struggle at a new job and getting her called out if not helpful.
In other words Let it go, let it go...
