CM discounts on dining plan?

hi my dear friend booked us a room with her discount for August. Will there be f&f discounts for dinning too? After reading some threads ppl say it's random or a month out before travel. True? Also heard April will come out with a discount (usually) also true? Thanks guys!

April rumor is for free dining which you won't be able to add to a CM reservation.
