How do cast members get a discount for the dining plan for their visiting families?

i believe we added ours by calling the cast reservation hotline. they also had a better deal than what we could get online for the room.

The discounts aren't offered all the time.

You would have to speak to your cast relative to find out what the procedure would be for them to book.

Yes, I asked my daughter to check on it, as I had read on the Dis previously that CMs get a discount on room & dining plan.
She said she had no idea how. I thought it would be on their hub. I thought it would be similar to booking online for general public, though may take more reasearch to find it.

They can book a room discount throughout the year with a full priced DP. Discounted DPs are offered a few months at a time and are not guaranteed - like regular discounts. The discount amount varies and the discount on the room depends on availability and if the CM is staying in the room or not.
