CM Celebrity Encounters

this was a while back, I was a CRT CM from May 03-May 05, but I saw a couple cool people....

while working:
*during training, Doug Flutie came in and my trainer helped him and his fam
*during 100 years of Magic, I had an eye on the portal to see what cool stuff was going on and I knew Julie Andrews was gonna be around (eventually met her at DHS) but while I was working, I didn't expect to see her, so in the middle of a sentence while talking to a guest at the podium, she walks by and I freeze in awe.....I had to take a deep breath to finish talking to the guest....
*Gloria Estefan came to eat
*Keyshawn Johnson made his fam walk in the rain to get to lunch while he was escorted in the utilidoors....
*I was so upset when Dwayne Johnson came when I wasn't working, I would have DIED
*my best one: It was announced that Sean Astin was coming to lunch, and only myself and and another CP CM were excited or even KNEW who he was....I was lobby assigning, so we arranged it so the other CM sat him and his family at his table, and I got to send them up to him......but afterwards, he came down to collect his souvenir mug....I had a normal CM to guest convo, only about a minute, but it was fun nonetheless.....then about a min later I proceeded to freak out

not working:
*Jim Caviezel in MK
*Drew Carey (w/o the glasses) at ToT
*Jump 5 (the little teenybopper group back in the day) at AK and AKL

that's all I can remember....

Anyways, this was during my CP last summer (FA 07) and I saw Joan Rivers and her daughter Melissa and there kids in the Emporium.

On one of my days off, I saw Dwight Howard and OMG he is sooo tall. I was in shock because he is one of my favorite players!

I also went to ESPN the weekend a couple of months before my CP and saw a ton of sports people.

It seems all the celebrities like to dine in the other countries! I worked in the World Showcase so there would ALWAYS be some celebrity sighting in a restaurant. Most of the restaurants are very hard to get into and pretty sought after so whenever a celebrity visits the resort, they'll have supper in the World Showcase. I couldn't count how many divas ate in France (Paris Hilton, Beyonce, bla bla) and totally skipped out on Canada! Haha, I didn't work in the restaurant but it was still exciting to hear the buzz.

I did spiel for the head of Pixar though? I almost died because I had an iffy audience and I was really hoping to be impressive and hilarious. A few Merch friends sold a Squeeze Breeze to Ice-T and he was really nice and amazed they knew who he was... hahaha. I also spieled for Neil Patrick Harris once and saw him a few times around Christmas. He never seems to leave Disney World :/

I'm sure there were more but I’ve sure I’ve forgotten, a lot of the celebs that went on my ride I wasn't too "excited" about just seeing in person haha
