CM Appreciation Cards

Hi -

We are getting ready to go on our crusie and I wanted to print some of these up:

For those that have done it before, do you put your family name or do you list the first names as well? - Would love to know what others have done with these cards and how receptive the CM's are to get them -

Hi there,
We didn't give the cards you describe, instead we gave pre-paid phone cards we had picked up in Florida prior to the cruise. They loved them, "I can call back home", was the general response, as most are under 6 month contracts.
Just a thought, but I'm going to check out the link for the cards you put up.

We give out phone cards as well, so we thought we would put these appreciation cards with the phone cards to add a more "magical" and personal touch for the CM's -

I opened the cards as a word doc and put in the month and year of our cruise, or the season, whichever fit or was appropriate, and i just put our family name in place of the family name that's there. I thought they were cute cards. And made sure i put in wonderful for the wonder, and will use magical on the magic, and so forth.


My big question--can anyone help a technology challenged person download and install the disney font from tagrel? i dont know whether to open, or save, when that window appears, or what directory i should save it in so that when i open up Word it will be an available font.

When I download a font I usually do Save first. That should put a Zip file where you save it to (I put it on the desktop so it is easy to find and delete). I double click on it to unzip and follow the prompts. There should be a folder called FONTS within the WINDOWS folder. If you put it in the FONTS folder it will show up in Word.

We have handed those cards out the CM's did seem very receptive....we put in along with our tips in the envelope and the next morning the servers made it a point to come up to us and say how nice they were and that they appreciated it!!!

We've given out these thank you cards at WDW as well as on the ship. The CMs all were thrilled to get them. Anyone who goes above and beyond in making our trip magical gets one. People everywhere liked to be thanked for doing a good job.
