Hi. Have all of the club level rooms at Wilderness lodge been renovated yet?

Thanks!

Thanks for the info. We are considering switching to there from the GF due to the construction there.

Honestly, we spent some time at the GF last month during our WL CL stay. While we would LOVE to stay at GF some day...that day is not now...we found the construction to be quite an eye sore....:scared:

The WL was absolutely perfect and gorgeous in every way!

You will love WL CL. We've only experienced 3 club levels (GF RPC, GF SL, & WL) and while our favorite is GF RPC, WL CL runs a very close second :thumbsup2.

Is it possible to see the MK fireworks from some club leverl rooms? If so, which ones?

I was in room 7042 and we had a great view of Cinderella Castle and Wishes...it's not a straight on view but you can totally see it. A better viewing spot is to go past the Yellowstone Suite to the end of the hall and open the blinds...awesome view!!!!!

The rooms in the North Wing have good views.

Was that room loud at all? Is that room over the smokehouse, etc?

If you look down, you could see the smokehouse....seriously, not a big deal. It's an enclosed balcony anyways, so if you're sitting, you can't see it. We did not find it to be noisy at all. We found ourselves hearing the boat horns (faintly), fireworks and that's it.

Good to know that. We stayed in non-club level in that general area many many years ago, but I did hear the sounds of trucks and stuff in the morning. It certainly smelled good though from the smokehouse!

Can anyone confirm that they currently have Woodchuck cider in the club level at WL? My husband doesn't drink beer, so this might be the deciding factor for him. We both love this stuff!

My DH says that there was...I don't drink it so I wasn't paying attention but he says yes.

Yum! Now we have to have a serious discussion tonight and make our decision. It's killing me. We can't make up our mind!

On the WL thread, page 1, there is a pic of the fridge with the alcoholic beverages in it...I don't see Woodchuck, but DH insists it was there, so don't take my word on that 100%

I would hate for you to get there and be all :scared1:

On the other hand, Woodchuck aside...I strongly recommend WL CL! :goodvibes

Either way, I'm sure that we will love it there. The last time we were there, on the 6th floor - many many years ago - we had spiders in our room and they got progressively bigger every day of our stay. The morning that we were leaving, my hubby was in the shower and I found the most horrifying huge spider - I almost ran out of the room naked. I couldn't wait for him to get out of the shower to kill it. We never went back to WL after that. I think it might have had something to do with a tropical depression passing through. The roof in the main lobby was even leaking. It was a log cabin after all.

Every time we visit the world now, we always stop by WL to check it out and my hubby promptly falls asleep in a big chair in the lobby.

:scared1: that's crazy!!! :scared1:

I would imagine that was definitely out of the ordinary. We saw no spiders (or any bugs) for that matter during our 11 day stay last month. Not even on the balcony. :goodvibes

This is exactly why I haven't had been back! Walking on the trails away from the lobby I will never forget the man-eater I saw above the trail. His web stretched across the top of the entire trail. He, himself, was larger than a dinner plate I kid you not. No thanks, WL.
