Okay - I know I have a lot of bits and pieces out there waiting for a response -- but is it true that at the Portofino the club level rooms are on floors 6 and 7 and the lounge where the food & drinks are is on the 3rd floor?

WE stayed club level at the Hardrock and the lounge was just down the hall. Are all club level rooms at the Hardrock on the same floor as the lounge???

I don't want to be getting into the elevator with my two year old to go get a coke -- I want to just walk down the hall ....I need some clarity on this....brain fog is setting in on what to do...:scared:

yes only at pbh the club lounge is on that floor.

at hrh and rph the club lounge is on the top floor.

if you don't want to take the elevator or long walk to club, pick up the soda and take it to your room in the morning. you have a bucket in your room and can fill it up with ice if the housekeeping service doesn't.

get the supply you need in the morning for the day so you don't have to go to club for one drink.

other than that, i have no suggestions.

thanx -- I think I'm leaning towards HRH now ...my 8 & 11 yo like to go to the lounge -- I don't like the idea of them taking the elevator up & down -- I could just watch them go down the hall & right into the club lounge at the HRH - call me paranoid but I would not send them in the elevator alone -- they liked running back and forth b/w the room & the lounge - that's why we paid the x-tra bucks

i have stayed quite a few times club level at the hrh.

the concierge staff will make sure your bucket if full of ice if you request it.

the hall ways at club at hrh bend at points. if you are in the main hallway, you are good to go in watching the kids go to club.

some have posted they really enjoyed the offerings at club lounge at pbh.
i think all three of the hotels clubs do not have the same foods.

one year at club at hrh, the afternoon treats and evening fare just didn't cut it.
people have posted hrh club is better now.

good luck with your choice!
where ever you are, you will love it.

i don't blame you at all to have the kids take the elevator to club at pbh. i would be too worried if i had kids that age going on their own.
it's a good enough reason to switch hotels. i know i would.

Thanx for your help --- we've stayed at the HRH before the redecorated so it looks like we'll be going back for a 2nd time ....really loved it first time, looking forward to the sequel.. thanks, again

We just got back from PB Club level. We were on the 6th floor. To get to the club we had to go down a semi-circular hall and get on elevator. On the 3rd floor you took a hard right and another hard right and went down a short distance and the club lounge was on the right. It was huge and the staff was excellent. We loved the breakfast offerings and the five-seven offerings- the dessert was not much. No way would I let a child go to the lounge on their own but that is just me. We stayed RPR club last Dec and loved it also. It was all on the same floor and the food was incredible. The lounge was two doors down from our room- I would have no problem letting my child run back and forth there. I loved both but it depends on what your needs are.

We had concierge at both HRH and RPH - Loved them both, just down the hall at HRH little one loved the freedom to go down by herself and grab something. She thought she was a real big shot. :cool1:

When we stayed at the Royal Pacific they only had rooms on the 5th floor so we had to go up the elevator to the lounge everytime and that was a pain BUT the offerings were so good it was worth it. I would load up a tray full of everything and bring it back. By the end of the trip I had it down to a science. :lmao:

No matter where you choose you will have a great time - We are booked for Disney next year and honestly I'm having a real hard time with it. I have been spoiled by Universal.

Disney is like this too, at Animal Kingdom Lodge, at The grand floridian, at Poly, sometimes you have to go to another floor to get your snackies
