My 9 year old daughter was terribly thrilled :cheer2: to learn of Club Libby Lu in downtown Disney, and though I'm pretty sure I saw a thread about it somewhere, I can't find it. So here are my questions: it sounds like reservations would be a good idea, is there a toll free number? Also, my daughter wants to know if they do your nails, too. AND whereabouts is the location of CLL in downtown Disney? (one more) Are they still having that special I read about on the CLL website where "Mom" gets a remake for free when she pays for "Daughter"?

Someone (I have a terrible memory for names, sorry  )posted a cool map of DL complete with labels, and I've also seen one for the resort hotels; does such a thing exist for Downtown Disney as well?

I've really been learning bunches (and enjoying) reading all of the posts! This is our 2nd trip to DL, but I hope it's not our last. :wave2:

We were just at CLL on Saturday and my two girls (12,8) had a ball! :flower: I asked about needing a reservation when we stopped by and was told that they weren't taking names but that it was a 'first come, first served' kind of thing. This was about 10 am. We were told it would be about a 45 minute wait and that if the wait got too long (we had a plane to catch) they would refund our money! Turned out they were both done around 10:30! Not bad if you ask me!

There is a little booklet that has six different 'styles' you can choose from and the cost is $20. This included 5 items (lip gloss, key chains, hair things) that they could choose from a group of bins, a cute back-pack, their make-up, nails painted, hair done and either a pair of sun glasses, microphone, or hair piece depending on which style you chose. :cheer2:

When you are walking into Downtown Disney from the main section (going towards the Disney hotels) CLL is on the left hand side right near the entry way to Grand Californian.

Both my girls had a great time with it and their hair lasted two sleeps! :earseek:

Thanks, Luvcinderelly! You answered every one of my questions to a tee--save one (I'm not great @ getting directions--sorry!): you said, "When you are walking into Downtown Disney from the main section (going towards the Disney hotels)"--does that mean I cross Harbor Blvd & walk west towards the main entrance of DL, but instead of turning in, I keep walking straight west until I come to DD? And then look to my left (by the GC entryway)? Sorry to be so thick-headed!

This must be a recent change. My daughter and a friend had their makeovers done in February and reservations were suggested at that time.

When I worked for Club Libby Lu, reservations were definniatly perfered over walk-ins, expecially on the busy weekends! :flower:

Good to know, Chibichibirei! Do you happen to know if they have a toll free number? :mickeybar
