Club level during 4+3

I was considering upgrading our ressie at WL to club level in Jan during the 4+3 deal. Club level shows available online without the deal but not with the deal. Any chance I may be able to upgrade when our date gets closer? If I have the dining plan is it worth the extra money?

There are only limited #s of rooms at each resort available for the 4/3 deal, so they may already be all booked. You can just keep checking, but I would do it on the phone vs. online -- that way if there would suddenly be availability, I think it would be better to be on the phone with a CM who can book it and cancel the other instead of trying to do that on the website.

I can't help you with the dining plan - we don't buy the dining plan, doesn't fit our style.

I agree with vicki_c about keep calling. You might also have more luck if you try manipulating your dates a bit, if possible. It might be that just one or two of the dates is unavailable.

About the dining plan, we have used it and not used it. I definitiely wouldn't use it WITH Club Level, if you intend to actually enjoy the lounge. Of course this is a matter of taste and style, but when we use DDP, we use our snack credits for grab 'n go breakfast, CS credits for lunch, and TS credits for dinner. It's always MORE than enough food. With the CL lounge to use, we get free breakfast and appetizers at dinnertime, so we tend to do some of our TS credits at lunchtime, which doesn't always "maximize" the value of the credits. It just seems not worth it to do both.

I heard somewhere that WL was not offering the 4/3 with Club Level. I checked the first day of the deal and it wasn't avail for my dates in January.

I believe you can not combine the 4/3 deal with the Dining Plan, so you need to choose the package you want to go with.

You can add any DDP to the 4/3 deal, but you pay the entire 7 nights of dining. Only the room and base ticket are free for the 3 nights. Can't combine any dining promotions that come out and still get 4/3.

Best to do the math, especially if you get a PIN for another promo. What works for one family may not work for another.

Oh Sorry I realized my question was unclear. I already have 10 days booked with the 4+3 at WL with dining. If I was able to get an upgrade to club level is it worth the extra $$

Go to the Disney website and look under special offers. They have a rate that's 40% off club level, room only. I asked the Disney agent to compare that against the 4-3 deal, and the 40% off was cheaper.

When you look at rooms available, there are more rooms available under the 40% off deal than the 4-3 (or at least there were when I was comparing).
