Has anyone stayed in the club level at Hard Rock, Portofino or Royal? If so, how are they? What food/drink offerings? Is it worth the extra? How nice are their workout facilities?

Thanks
KC

I've stayed at them all. The food is very good. Whether you will think it all worth the extra charge is a very individual thing. If you're going to be spending most of your time at the parks and in CityWalk, then maybe it's not worth it. I dunno.

The exercise facilities are comparable in each hotel. I like RPR best, just for the layout.

The only downside to Club is that it can be too popular, with the Club lounge mobbed at all times of day. I found this especially true at HRH.

i have also stayed at all three.

hrh club has a smaller lounge. when everyone on the floor wants to be in there, too crowded, it won't accomadate that many guests.

food offerings on the hotels club are in various threads. do a search and you will see the recent ones and older ones.

pbh does not have the club level lounge on the top floor as the other hotels do.

some have mentioned of a longer walk or the need of the elevator to travel floors to the club lounge.

if you have a family of 4 or 5, the club offerings might be a deal breaker for you. it would especially be appealing if your family is the type to hang around the hotel and pool more than the parks during your stay.

i have done club when i have gone solo before.
to me, it is not worth it for the extra price.

the breakfast offerings i love.
but, i can get by just as cheap at city walk for that time period.

if it is hhn time or early closing at the parks, i don't leave the parks in the daytime. i buy the water/soda/snack in the parks. don't come back to the club lounge for it.

one and only one hhn did i leave the park during hhn time to go to the club lounge. the sweet hour was great but the long line and metal detectors to reenter the park was not great.....

Sorry, I don't work out while I'm on vacation, or ever for that matter. :rotfl:

I stayed HRH club level. It is a small club. There are few tables and a room with couches/chairs and a tv in it. We usually carried our food back to the room, but we did catch it empty a couple of times.

Morning offerings till 10:00 AM were bagels (cream cheese) toast (jellies) croissants, assorted pastries, doughnuts with sprinkles, oatmeal (packets you add water to) dry cereals, and fresh fruit. Beverages were milk, oj, apple juice, and then bottled wate, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, coke, sprite, and diet coke which are offered all day long.

Snacks were in the club all afternoon, sometimes chips, or pretzels, fresh fruit like apples and bananas. Secret tip, in the train on the desk open it up and there are Oreos in there, or at least there were when we were there last.

Evening offerings were beer and wine from 5-7, I think well drinks for a price (I'm a beer drinker so I don't know) and little finger foods that change nightly. Always veggies and ranch dip, then other nights there were spinach and artichoke hot dip with chips, meatballs with different sauces, wings, teriyaki chicken skewers, pigs in a blanket, and a tortellini salad, there were more, I just don't remember all of it. Usually it was 3 hot offerings with the veggie tray, oh and a cheese platter with crackers.

Dessert hour always had chocolate chip cookies, also had things like brownies, and I think one night they had ice cream and set out sprinkles for the kids. :goodvibes
