Club Level at the Floridian

I was looking into three rooms or a two-bedroom suite club level at the Floridian. The front desk says the average price is 3K per night. In the Grand scheme of things that isn’t horrible. Has anyone tried Club level at the Floridian? My wife claims other resorts are better in terms of service, fireworks views, etc. Anyone have any input?

Thanks

We got back yesterday from a trip where we stayed GF Club Level. We were not in a suite, but were in a King Deluxe Room. We really liked it. The room was gorgeous. The Lounge was nice and had a really good offering of food and drinks.

For views Cr and Poly have a better TPV . However there are other options for what you want.

IF want a TPV get 3 tpv rooms. I am not sure you are aware but the main building RPC 2 bedrooms suites are on the side that faces the beach pool and dvc building. You can see EWP from there but not the fireworks.

Another option is a TPV 2 bedroom suite OUTER BUILDING. The ones in Sago and Conch are at the end of the buildings and have a nice view. We stayed in a 1 bedroom in May and loved it. You do have to walk to main building to get the offerings but it wasn't too bad. In the morning we walked to lounge, had breakfast then grabbed transportation from there. When we returned we popped up to lounge for snacks and ate there or took things to our suite.

The newly refurbed rooms and lounge are the nicest on disney property .

Also GF is the only resort currently offering room service.

Please head to page 1 of gf thread.

Here are my pix of the 1 bedroom tpv suite outer building.

As @trishadono noted the GF club level lounge and rooms just reopened for a multi-month refurbishment. Haven’t stayed yet but the pics look really nice and everything is effectively brand new. Which is good because I was in a 2BR main building suite in 2022 and it was by far the worst Disney suite I have ever stayed in - dated decor, dents/dings, dated/dark bathrooms - just not a good room, in my humble opinion. I’ve seen pics of the renovated suites and they look much better. That said, they still wouldn’t be on my favorite list if I’m spending that kind of money at WDW - you get more for your money elsewhere (again, in my humble opinion). I’d probably go with multiple rooms over a suite, depending on the party makeup.

“Better” CL service is very subjective, lots of pros/cons and both good and bad reviews from all of them. Historically GF gets pretty good reviews and has a loyal following. I personally don’t think GF CL ever quite ‘lives up to the hype’ - I stay like once every 3-4 years and am reminded each time why it’s been 3-4 years. 8-) But in fairness I put some of the blame for my opinion on me - I went for years reading the love affair reviews about Royal Palm Club, finally sucked it up and paid the big prices, walked in having built it up so much in my head expecting everything to be over the top/blow me away perfect… when in reality it’s just a Disney resort and club level with the same various pros/cons they all have.

Also just FYI, more main building lobby renovations are reportedly coming for sometime early next year - some main building rooms and the CL lounge overlook the main lobby so may be subject to noise depending on how extensive a renovation they plan on doing. Something to keep in mind/monitor for those planning 1H24 trips.
