they can be done up to 10 months out. I haven't but a few have posted mostly positive experiences. There's a $95 fee per villa. If it works for you I'd seriously consider it.Has anyone done an exchange to one of the Club Cordial resorts in Austria? We are heading that way next summer, and I am hoping to snag a few nights at one of them. Looking for feedback on ease of booking, when to contact DVC to do the booking and what you thought of the resorts. Thanks!!
Thanks, again. Very useful info. I will report back on whether or not I am successful with the exchange request.
Thanks, unfortunately DVC has been using the RCI points accounting the last few yrs rather than doing their own. This gives us a lot less info, esp since it's likely an evolving situation with the changes over the last year or so.Useful info, Dean. Thanks!
I reviewed the info on the agreement/audit and the LOS is not addressed that I can see where it is for Club Intrawest. The 7 night restriction would be a Cordial requirement, not DVC.Update: I was successful with my exchange request for Club Cordial in Achenkirch. Only issue was that I wanted four nights and had to take seven in order to get the exchange. I could live with that. Will do a report when we get back.
If the 7 nights were available, so were the 4 nights. I'd have to think that cordial was making a conscious effort to limit exchange to the timeshare calendar in full weeks increments. If the numbers made sense, you likely made a good choice taking the 7 nights rather than hoping for the 4.I was told that it was because it would only work if they could find an exact match for the exchange out. I could have waited for one that matched the four night request, but decided just to take the one that they offered.

You will love the Achenkirch area and find that 7 days is not enough. We have not stayed at the Club Cordial but have ridden our bicycles through it several times to check it out. It is nice. We went to the Achenkirch for one year and have returned probably 5 times. We stay a bit further down the lake in Bullay, a part of Maurach. The area is so beautiful, laid back, restful and SO many things to do from taking the lifts into the mountains to boat rides on the lake to cycling to alms for beer and good company.
