Went to Epcot today, had a great time as always.

Little disappointed in Club Cool, and not simply because the theme isn't as good as Ice Station Cool. But because they are down to just a couple different sodas now...the rest are out and haven't been filled for weeks. Over the last few months I've noticed the selection has slowly decreased as flavors run out.

In most of the stations, all they have left is the German Ginger Ale and Mezzo orange. One or two of the stations had the Vega Beta. The rest are gone. Even the Beverly!

Now, I'm not one to complain much about anything at Disney, especially when it comes to something that is offered free (Disney doesn't HAVE to do this), but it's just a little disappointing. So for anyone who is looking forward to Club Cool, temper the enthusiasm a little.

Other than that, Epcot was awesome.

Back in April it was the same thing, I was extremely dissapointed. Either fill the place with the drinks or just take down the whole establishment.

There was a lot of complaining that I heard from the guests.

I have a feeling one of the two things you suggest will happen soon. Hopefully, its the first option.

Its become an embarrassment to Disney, Coca-Cola, and to anyone who has told their friends to visit the location.

What's the DEAL with these two MAJOR CORPORATIONS not keeping up the place?

Reminds me of Kodak and "Imagination" Pavillion... too sad!

Yeah, I can't imagine a head honcho has walked through there recently. If they have, and have let it stand the way it is, they've really let their standards slip.

It was much better when it was the Igloo, you walked past frozen cavedude to 7-8 different soda flavors, now it's just a gifts shop with 2-3 soda flavors!!!

It wasn't just that, it's the little things that add to the charm of the park in general. Something like telling someone to try the Beverly because it's the BEST FLAVOR, then watching them recoil with disgust after trying it is one of the little things that makes the place special! Seriously...it's stuff like that that people remember!

If they don't have the selection, and don't have beverly, it's a waste of time.

I just can't believe the Beverly is not there, That's one of the flavors they've always had, just last month I know they had it, so i find it amazing!!!As far as making people try the Beverly, I'm one of those who tell unsuspecting guests It's the best flavor, watch them try it and spit it back out!!!!

It's a shame that they spend money to update/improve the look but they cut back on offering the flavors as before. The Cool Station isnt' that cool.

we were there in July, and all stations had all flavors.

Its inconsistent.

We were there in mid-May this year and a 3rd or more of the "spigots" were not working.

We were very disappointed in the redo and have found at least a few flavors empty the last few visits. It's a shame. It's not a big attraction, by any means, but was just one of those fun little spots to visit.

When we were there in April it was the same way. I think there were only 3 or 4 stations working and all were out of the watermelon and the lemon lime, our two favorites. We let the girls talk us into the make your own icees, boy that was a joke. THe girl at the counter had no idea how to do anything, not good during Spring Break. She had no idea how to do a room charge, had to find someone to run it, making the line back up. Then, she did not listen to my children, and subsequently mixed up their orders and their cups, major drama in the 'tween set. ;). The worst part was she didn't seat the lids properly, and we had icee oozing out all the way "home" to the Yacht Club. The cups now sit on DD's desks, haven't been used at all, unlike our refillable mugs, which younger DD has claimed all of for her own. :) I really hope they get this attraction back on track, it used to be a great place to go in, cool off and grab a drink, and also to add to your Coke memorabilia collection.

On another note, the World of Coke in Atlanta GA is getting a moajor overhaul, and the rumor is that they are adding the flavor stations there. Guess we'll be heading north to get our Watermelon fix! Wish we could buy the stuff.

:confused3 That is a shame, when we were there in Feb, things were still all filled up, I hope that Coca Cola and Disney get on the ball.....Nothing beats telling your child to try Beverly that it is the best, and getting the classic reaction! And I miss the frozen cavedude, he must have had too much Beverly!!! :rotfl2:

I was disappointed in the redo. I thought the igloo, ice, etc were such a novel idea, and then the redo. Just a gift shop basically. Not what it was.

Last time we were there it was being refurb but our trip before that it was still the igloo, which was pretty cool my only complaint was that the floor was such a mess, it was wet and sticky..Look forward to seeing the new club cool..Kids will enjoy a free soda and I hope to trick BIL into a beverly..lol

We were there in July, and we just had to go to the different stations to get the different drinks. My kids tried Beverly, but, I missed the photo opportunity. They had all of the drinks though.

My 7 year old got a build your own icee cup, and we had an extra nice cast member, that gave him samples of the blue icee, because she was just SURE he would love it. (Which he did). My son hasn't drank out of any cup except his icee cup since we got home.

My kids loved Club Cool.

Is it still icee cold when you walk in the door or is it totaly changed up? My family loved stopping in and trying all the flavors! We will be there in Sept. and I will be very upset if they don't have this worked out! :sad2:

We just got back, and we had the same experience....sorry to hear that it is an ongoing thing..... I liked Ice Station Cool with the snow and everything...not much impressed with Club Cool.

Didn't they just make it over, and if that is the case, they won't be closing it anytime soon, so hopefully they will get more of the beverages in stock again.

The last week of January they had at least 2 that were out, might actually have been 3, I can't remember exactly for sure.. The Beverly was one of them that was out.
