I'm hoping someone can offer some advice. I'm a lifelong Disney fan, even got to get married there 11 years ago.
I've been on the club 33 waiting list for 16 years.

It's been a lifelong dream to spend my 33rd birthday there and it's creeping up on me and I am out of options.

Is there anyway I can get a one time reservation there? My 33rd birthday is in January and I'm hoping someone can tell me a way that I can get in.

Thanks so much!

Be a member, know a member, or know someone high enough up in a corporation that has a membership. Only they can make reservations. That is about it for options to get in I believe.

Hope you find an in. It's a terribly emotional experience every time. LOVE IT. Wish I could go every trip.

Everyone that was on the waiting list in May of 2012 was invited to join. If you have not joined the interest list, you may wish to do so. As far as getting a reservation, you would need a member willing to vouch for you to make a reservation for you. I would let everyone you know know you are interested in going. Believe me, you never know who has a membership. When my kids were younger, I was with a friend I had known for 5 years. She asked what we were doing for my son's birthday. I commented I had always wanted to take him to the club for his 21st birthday, but hadn't gotten a membership yet, so we'd probably do Goofy's. She looked at me oddly and said "You want to go to the club?" I said yes, and she said, I'll make you a reservation! I didn't know she was a member, she didn't know I was interested. You never know who would be a member. Don't ask, but let everyone know!

This.

I have had many potential leads for reservations pop up this way and I do not live in the SoCal area.

-One was an acquaintance that was good friends with a member and she had an open invite...and that friend was based out of Washington DC.
-Another was casual conversation with hair dresser about their Disneyland trip...her husband worked for a corporation that had a membership and he had access to person that was able to make reservations
-Ran into a guy on the beach with our dogs who was wearing a Disney shirt and he had a friend who was a member
-Have an a old friend that posted on FB that she was on a mission to go to Club 33 one day...turns out she was actually FB FRIENDS with a member and did not even know it!
-My CPA has another clinet that is a member
-Guy that makes my company's shirts also has another client that is a member.

All came about in just casual conversations about Disneyland without being a stalker and I was able to piggy back on some of their generosity.

This makes me so hopeful! thank you so much!

Do Disney execs have access to Club 33? My son's soccer coach used to be a SVP at WDI. I wonder if he still has connections. I have to find a way to drop Club 33 into our next conversation...hmm.

Some do, but they need to be pretty high up.

I have a friend who was middle management in Burbank and her said sometimes his higher ups could pull some strings but it had to be a pretty special reason to get approval for a reservation.

Even Ginnifer Goodwin (aka Snow White) couldn't get a reservation thru Disney. She had to get her own membership.

I let it be widely known that I wanted to go for my 33rd birthday. It didn't happen, but then when I was 34 a friend of a friend was having a corporate event in the Trophy Room and didn't fill his allotment. She asked if she could invite me, he said yes, and that's how I got to go. So even if it doesn't happen when you want it, it could still happen later.

I've been blessed that a few members have seen fit to make reservations for me for special occasions (10-year wedding anniversary, Wife's 35th Birthday, Oldest Daughter's 10th Birthday, and a great night with a member watching Fantasmic and checking out the Jazz bar). As with everything previously said, make it known to everybody your hopes to get an invitation and there's a good chance pixie dust can happen. The members I've made connections with are so great and generous. Club 33 members love making magic happen when they can.

No reservations can be made unless you are an actual member :( Unfortunately it's basically all in who you know. I got in ONCE because a good friend's boss had a membership and made us reservations. It's always one of those "my friend's, sister's brother" sort of deal when people talk about how they got in.

A lot of bigger company's have corporate memberships, so I'm not sure what company you work for and how good your relationship is with your boss's boss's boss, but sometimes people get in that way.

I'm going to go ahead and close this thread. A few years ago this board was plagued with requests for Club 33 dinners, and I'd hate for that to start again.
