How does a regular tourist, who is a foodie, get the family into Club 33 for a meal?

:cool2:

Know some one who has connections!!!!

I have been a few times! It is a lot of fun but pricey...

the first commenter pretty much summed it up :) I've been trying the past 2 years, best of luck to you :):goodvibes

The thing is the amount of money it costs to join Club 33 even if they were allowing new members is incredibly insane.

I would make a ressie at Blue Bayou, relax, enjoy the atmosphere and call it good. It is at least the Disney feel and in the same building for a lot less money. Probably even has the same kitchen.

Just like you can go spend a fortune for the Hooptey do review (which by the way I love) or go next door to the buffet and eat the same chicken for a lot less but you do not get the show.

Have fun.....

Occasionally there are charity auctions where a meal at Club 33 is auctioned off...of course that makes it even *more* expensive!

Don't torture yourself, if it happens somehow great but if not it's only an expensive eatery at Disneyland. Enjoy Blue Bayou.

And definitely not the same food as the Blue Bayou. The food at Club 33 is pretty darn amazing. The service much better too. ;)

The steak house at the DLH is supposed to be very good as well. There are other options! :)

Auctions of any kind are now against the rules. Anyone caught doing so risks losing their membership.

Other ideas? Check the company you work for. Never know. There are a number of corporate memberships.

And don't ask me... I sure can't help.

Sheer luck and a little bit of pixie dust.

I think that they should have made a meal at Club 33 one of the dreams, but oh well.

yep you could get an ap and a hotel for a year straight and be about even:lmao:

bwa ha ha

I've read that too!

I haven't really wanted to be a member, or even go, but while at lost and found the other day, the "other" window was full of people checking in for their Club 33 reservations, and I had a definite twinge of "I wanna do that toooooooooooo". :goodvibes

Go to sleep and dream a happy little dream. I had pan seared scallops in my dream and my children were all perfectly well behaved.:rotfl:

Next, I walked out the door, happy and satisfied with my meal, and the dream team swooped down on me and told me the dream suite was ours for the night.:bitelip:

Ask around. If you know anyone in accounting a lot of the big firms have memberships. We've been several times and it's all do to our accountant. I would say at this point because of the cost, that businesses own a lot of the memberships. So that's your best bet, finding one that has one.

That's been raised before. Part of the problem is that Club 33 is just that. A Private Membership Club. Even though it is located inside Disneyland, it remains very much a separate entity from the rest of the Park in many ways.

Recall that a few years back, DL sold a Club 33 pin to the general public. I don't know the specifics, but I do know there were problems as the result.

I just wanted to add that for a true foodie I think you would be severly disappointed in the food. ;) thats my honest opinion. We had the chance to eat there and it was good...but not this fantastic over the top meal....it just wasn't that exciting.
We have had better food at WDW restaurants such as Coral Reef, Yachtsman Steakhouse, and others.....

I love that we got the once in a life time chance to eat there...but it was for "the experience" not the food. ;) ;) ;) ;)
