Hi all. I've been to WDW many times and am taking my first trip to Disneyland in a couple of weeks. My husband is in LA now working and his coworker is a club 33 member. He has arranged for us to go to lunch as his guests on my son's 5th birthday. Can you give me some idea of price for lunch? I'm very excited about going but want to make sure we can fit it into the budget first.

I don't know if the minimum per person is in place for lunch...when I went for lunch I paid $40, which included tax and tip. It was buffet...not sure if they do that anymore (was some years ago). Dinner you have to spend at least $59/person...someone correct me if I'm wrong. When DH and I went for our anniversary, we did the prix fixe vinter's menu, so it cost way more than that...

Have fun and enjoy the experience! :thumbsup2

We just went and someone else sponsered us and there was some major confusion!

Our "lunch" was around $60 per adult and $50 per child (3 years plus) plus tax and tip, but it included the ticket into Disneyland only. We were supposed to make the reservation with Club 33 and then go to the will call area and pick up our "free" tickets. Then, when you eat at the restaurant they charged our credit card. The food was amazing to say the least, but it ended up being pricey for us. We didn't know about this and we used a day off our old WDW hopper tickets so we never got the "free" tickets so we paid that much plus used a day off our tickets. The message was lost between the person who had the memberhsip and my friend who took us so we spent over 400 for lunch! Ouch!!!!!

They would not let us get a free ticket for the next day or give us any money back at all according to my friend but she didn't want to push the issue. I am going to write a letter and see if there is anything they can do. They are a separate company and have an agreement.

Also, you would not be given a park hopper, it is only a 1 day DL pass.

Congratulations elliemae1192

I ate lunch at Club 33 in August 2006 and I also recall it being around $60 per person. Our complimentary passes were park hoppers, good for both DL and DCA. In our case, we had purchased a multi-day parkhopper, skipped the Club33 day on our purchased parkhopper and made use of the free pass, essentially adding a day to our parkhopper. But since we ended up converting the parkhopper to an AP, the Club33 pass didn't help us. Nevertheless, I found the money I spent at Club33 so worth it, and would do it again in a heartbeat. The food was fabulous, and the experience was priceless!

Thank you so much for the info. We are very excited and surprised. My hubby is out there working and the guy he works with found out that we'd be coming out to meet him and go to DL for the first time and that my son would also be having his birthday there and surprised us with lunch ressies on that day. My son will be turning 5 so the importance of this will be lost on him, but the rest of the family is thrilled.

Do you know if Disneyland does anything for birthdays? I know that at WDW you can go to guest services and get a button to wear and all the cast members make a big deal over you all day. At 5 years old he'll be more excited about that than club 33.;)

We ate lunch at Club 33 a couple of years ago - we got hopper passes for the day and I recall spending around 70 per person. It was a Saturday and buffet if that is any help. We have tickets for July again, if you are going after the middle of July I can get more info to you then.

They do have birthday buttons at city hall inside Disneyland. Another perk is if he wears it to the Mission Tortilla fatory he will get a stack of free tortillas.

I was at Club 33 in February and the minimum price per person is about $65.00. That is what you have to spend or they will charge you to make up that amount....

Yes you do get Park Hopper tickets that you pick up at the will call area by DCA.

Did you go for lunch or dinner?

Along with the birthday button, dont forget the 1st timer button ;):thumbsup2

Oh wow. Didn't know about that. DD will be thrilled that she can get a button too. She's a tad bit jealous that DS will have his b-day there.;)

we went for dinner. But I don't think there is much of a price difference...
