Club 33 tips?

It depends on your escort. We've only been restricted from going off the "beaten path" ie we can't go to the castle, we have to use the directed path. It is fun to see all the stores closed.

I wish we had your escort, Malcon10+. That's a great pic of the castle!!! We've been escorted out twice and both times were told "No photos!" When we were there a couple of months ago, they were practicing the Halloween parade, when we were leaving the park. The cast members were not wearing costumes, so I can understand why they wouldn't want us taking pics. It's still a fun experience though. :)

I loved your story Jory29!! What a wonderful surprise!

With an 8:30 reservation, do you all think we would still be there when the park closes at midnight? I am ok with that, but it seems like an awful lot of lingering...won't they gently kick us out by then? I am over the moon excited and feel so lucky, believe me, I know most people wait a lifetime...and fully expected never going in!

We closed down the park once late enough, just after Christmas when they were practicing the NYE lightening on ROA. It was great. We were told not to photograph the island.

Our normal dinner at the club with friends takes about 3.5 hours. They won't "kick you out." If you are still there at 1am, they may start nudging, as some of these guys have to be back the next day for the early shift at 10am.

Just our experience, we've easily stretched out a dinners 3 hours, and even a little longer. The Club never rushes you out. Everything is done at a very leisurely pace. Stay and enjoy as the experience as long as you can. :)

Malcon, that is the best photo ever with the service pup!

Our dinner lasted hours as well and we ended up watching F! from the balcony with other diners at the suggestion of our server. It was truly one of the best nights ever. pixiedust:

Boo about the pens. Love my pen. Best souvenir. I'm excited ifyou get to keep the secret. I did really well until 11:00. Then my dh and I had quite the fight because he wanted to eat and I wouldn't let him. I had to tell him we were going to Club 33 and we had to wait until our reservation. Lol!

I was disappointed there were no pens and no chocolates with our bill, when I was there in Sept. :( I used to enjoy the chocolates.

So far it is still a secret from my parents and our boys, but it is getting hard to hold in the excitement! We just keep grinning at each other ;) My family thinks a friend is meeting us for dinner at the Blue Bayou and will be helping us take a nice family picture with the 3 generations of Disney lovers so they need to dress up. Fingers crossed nobody questions me when we are packing tonight!

Our first visit 6+ years ago, I tried to keep it a secret and do the "Dress up for a family pic". My older 2 figured it out... But it was fun.

I cry every time I read these Club 33 threads. I'm such a sap. So happy for you, OP. I have never been there, so I can't offer any advice. Just wanted to wish you well. Enjoy it to the fullest!!

Aw, thanks so much! I wish every true Disney fan could get the chance...just once! We sure never thought we would be going in, so keep on the lookout for your chance.
