Anybody heard of Club 33? Anybody ever been??

I have actually been before, wanted to see if there were any more of us out there.

Yes, I have heard of Club 33 & have kinda been there before.
It encompasses the entire second level of Pirates & that area of New Orleans Square at Disneyland. (I'm sure you the orginal poster, know this but I think some people may not).
I have not had the opprotunity to actually dine there or tour the entire thing, but I did sneak in once as another group was leaving through the door. I saw the entryway, the staircase, and the old fashioned elevator. It was sooo beautiful inside! :cloud9:
I left right after that because I didn't want to get caught breaking a rule at Dinsneyland :rotfl: or get the people who turned a blind eye to me sneaking through, in trouble.
:rolleyes1
Maybe someday I will actually get to eat there, but I have heard its very hard to do.

I've been there twice. Once for lunch and once for dinner. It's a private restaurant at Disneyland in New Orleans Square. The company I work for has a membership so we can go whenever we want to ( I think). We do need to call HR ahead of time and they make the reservations for us.

The food was fantastic. The price of the meal equals the cost of a one day ticket but you get into the park for free that day.

For anyone that can get in, I recommend going. It's worth it.

Yeah, we've been quite a few times when we used to go to CA every year. Haven't been since '91 though, so I'm not sure if there have been any changes.

Always enjoyed the food, except at dinner once, the roast duck was inedibly dry. My favorite though was always Sunday brunch, with the apple cider and the mounds of shrimp.

Sat next to Jody Benson at lunch once, very classy and friendly lady.

Service was always the very best and the cast was far more cordial and helpful naturally than anywhere else in the park.

I always enjoyed walking out on the balcony after a meal. Looking down on the "street"- guests very rarely look up- gives you a totally different perspective of New Orleans Square.

If you get an opportunity to dine there, ask your server to suggest your main course for the evening.... don't order the DUCK!
